It seems R.E.M.’s “It’s the End of the World as We Know It” plays in the background while many of us model a myriad of financial scenarios. It’s a difficult and busy time; my CFO and I are flipping spreadsheets back and forth at a speed that seems to defy the space time continuum. The pressure is high on all of us to get this right and get back to normal. While we’re in this crucible, it would be so easy to miss what we are learning about ourselves and our teams.
